So Good S’mores Dip

So Good S'mores Dip

Happy Wednesday again everyone! I just love sharing easy, quick, and cheap dessert recipes because they are so fun to surprise the family with after dinner. We usually only have dessert on Friday nights, but sometimes I like to surprise everyone and throw out zingers like this SO Good S’mores Dip. There are different ways to serve this dessert (from elegant to messy), but our absolute favorite is to share a large casserole dish full in the middle of the living room floor while watching a movie! Give this a try and I promise your family will love it:-)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 2 tbs milk
  • 1 1/4 cups mini marshmallows
  • Graham crackers for dipping

Directions:

Mix chocolate chips, milk and 1 cup of the marshmallows in medium saucepan. Stir continuously over medium heat until melted.

Pour mixture into small casserole dish (I use an 8×8 pan).  Sprinkle remaining marshmallows on top. I usually add a few extra marshmallows on top to make sure its completely covered.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes, or until marshmallows start to brown. Using the top oven rack works well.

Dip your graham crackers and enjoy!!

Serving Tips:

You could easily divide this recipe into individual small baking dishes to serve at a dinner party and create a fancier presentation.

Our family loves to share this dip (by share, I mean huddle around the dish salivating like wild dogs until it’s gone). I typically spread a large tablecloth on the living room floor and put this dip in the center with a dish full of graham crackers. We watch a movie and we get crumbs everywhere! That’s the awesome and fun part though, as I just roll up the table cloth full of crumbs, shake outside, and wash. SO easy and the kids think it’s a party every time. This stuff is delicious. Enjoy!
